Biography
Dominic Filion is an engineer in physics and has obtained a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Montréal in 2004. In charge of the IRCM’s microscopy platform for almost 15 years, he annually assists more than 175 users with both experimental design and capture of microscopy images and videos. Over the years, his expertise in microscopy, programming and image processing has allowed him to contribute to hundreds of publications and research projects. His programming has significantly reduced the users’ time for their manual analysis.
