DESCRIPTION:There are opportunities for developing international R&D collaborations and business\nopportunities between Canada and the UK in the AI sector. The UK Science and\nInnovation Network in Canada\, DIT\, Québec’s Ministère de l’Économie\, de la Science et\nde l’innovation\, IVADO\, Montréal International\, CIRANO\, and Fasken Martineau will be\nconvening a two-day programme to explore the UK AI ecosystem and look at developing\nthose opportunities.In particular\, we are looking at:\n1. Better understanding and knowledge of the UK AI Ecosystem;\n2. Increasing awareness of the UK AI strategy and capabilities; and\n3. Strengthening or fostering partnerships between the UK and Canada.\nThe two-day programme will include a UK/Canada workshop highlighting recent\ndevelopments and business opportunities in AI as well as visits to Montreal key\npartners. We would like you and your organisation to be part of these activities in Montreal\n(12-13 October)\, as we look to build and develop collaborations and relationships between\nthe UK and Canada.
